She looked at him in disbelief for a second, and then ran to catch up with Neji.
"I was just offering to help," she said in an even voice. "I don't know what I could do, but I thought I would be polite and offer to help you." She stressed the word "polite" and looked at him meaningfully.

Neji did not even bother to look at Mai, keeping his lavender eyes up foward, trying to keep his attention on where he was going.

Scowling, she stopped walking, folded her arms across her chest, and said, "We're supposed to be a team. That means working together." She then caught up to him again. "Where are you going with him, anyway?" she nodded her head towards Oron.

Neji, however, did not bother to stop. He felt it was quite pointless to even bother to talk to Mai. She already proved to be quite annoying.
"I am going to make sure he goes somewhere..that, is none of you buisness." Neji replied to the girl, flatly. "And...team or not, you are too annoying to be part of my team. You first arrive here late and now you are badgering me."
