She hadn’t bothered to visit the Ramen stand when she had passed it a few minutes back. It just appeared far to busy, and she wasn’t much hungry. Ah, well, that wasn’t the point. She just wanted to explore Konoha farther then she had been able to before. She was excited about the upcoming mission Team Six would perhaps be assigned, but she knew it would be petty and easy ranked. Everything had to begin small, and then grow to importance. Just like she had.
As a young child she had refused to acknowledge the fact she was a Jinchuriki, sealed with Hachimata. Or perhaps it was ignorance of the fact that she could be used as a strong weapon. She just wanted to be a normal kid, but she didn’t act normal. It wasn’t her nature. To her, she was normal. An everyday Sound Kunoichi, going through life.
She had come to Konoha a mere while back, having just become a Genin in the Sound village, and had been assigned a team here is Konohagakure. At first the idea thrilled her. Going somewhere new, where no one knew of her bijuu. So here she had come, and she had met her team as well as her sensei.
She had gathered little information on any, really. Kankuro was ignorant, a jerk and overconfident. Cocky, if you will. Haynuto dealt with shadows and fusion from what she had seen. And Asuma-sensei was a cryptic man, saying things in his vague way. And he had a smoking problem.
It was her team, so she had supposed that it was best to get to know them. She had already trained some with Asuma before the others had arrived, late. Thereafter, she had hit Kankuro and played hide-and-seek with her team and sensei. This was nothing like the Sound village she had grown up in, but she would have to deal anyway.
She moved sideways in attempt to dodge the crowd dispersed throughout the streets, weaving in between groups and individuals, head down, but eyes up. Her hand strayed to her cheek and remained, covering the seal implanted there. She didn’t want people to stare as she passed.
She jerked her shoulder as she felt a steady hand placed upon it. She turned, eyes locked on the person, before she relaxed slightly. The kid had sky blue hair and his eyes were not visible under his headband and bangs. He wore a leather jacket and black jeans. Her eyes roved to his arm, where a chain wound its way around its form.
He continued to watch her before he spoke finally. “You are a Kunoichi from Sound, am I right?” Dakama’s eyes lacked emotion as she nodded, but Oron did not seem to see it. “Yes, I am.” She said, figuring he was perhaps unable to see past his headband. Why was it there in the first place?
Oron nodded. “I sensed your chakra. It is…immense.” Dakama’s eyes narrowed as he said this. Did he know she was a Jinchuriki? “What is your point?” she asked. Oron let his hand drop and he removed a flower (Which was coincidently at a stand next to them) and handed it to Dakama.
Dakama blinked, confused, as she took it from him. “Thanks…?” Oron smiled. “Just be careful with what you choose, it could effect your future more then you think.” He said cryptically as he turned and headed away, tapping the ground with his staff. Dakama watched him leave, confused, before she clutched the flower, ignoring the pricks of the thorns, and began to head back through the crowd.
She headed forward as she made her way towards a lake she had happened to see before. She reached it and climbed up to a tree bough and sat, eying the flower absentmindedly. She tossed it onto the lakes surface and watched it float away before sighing, staring out at the pillar in the middle of the lake, deep in thought.
