What had he done? Focused chakra? Directed it and channelled its energy? She had no clue how to even go about the task as she received back her weapon. Was it like her and the shuriken? No, it required no mind will to channel this chakra.
She held it out in her left hand and away from her body. The whole of the scythe glowed brilliantly, but the chakra did not extend and it failed. It faded and she looked at Asuma, confused. "What should I be focusing on doing?" she asked.

Black sandals clicked on the earth as a tall brunette walked towards Asuma. Bright hazel eyes shifted around in an annoyed way. 'I hate this…' She smiled a very fake smile as she reached Asuma and then put out her hand. "Amaya Haynuto"

"Ridiculous... I left Suna for this piece of crap village?"
A pair of black zori left deep prints into the ground, raising clouds of dust to trail the fifteen-year-old's progress toward the training grounds. Despite the moderate warmth of the day, he was clothed in a full-body black suit, complete with the familiar, if not slightly odd, cat-eared hat. His gloved hands were pushed into the pockets of the outfit, concealed from view, as he trudged toward the alleged meeting place, a small frown on his angled features.
The sharp purple markings painted over his chin, cheeks, forehead, lips and eyes shone with ever so slight perspiration as he finally reached the wire fence lining the grassy field. His black eyes reduced themselves to slits, changing his entire expression into that of a sardonic kitsune mask as he regarded the area. The rough white bandages securing his two main weapons to his back rubbed together with a hoarse sound; slight creaking sounded from within the wrappings, as if whatever was inside wanted to claw its way out.
Raising one hand out of its pocket to trace his nimble fingers over the worn sign, he sneered slightly. "The famous Konoha Training Grounds," he muttered in a sarcastic, almost unpleasant tone. "It'll be interesting to see whether my supposed new sensei" -he pronounced the word as if with contempt)- "will actually teach anything useful."
With a mirthless chuckle, he pushed the gate ajar and proceeded toward the two figures in the near distance, taking each step with deliberate slowness, an unpleasant sneer on his face, his eyes remaining in their kitsune-like lines.
"Sarutobi Asuma, I presume?" he drawled lazily as he stopped in front of the taller, bearded man, regarding the girl with half-interest.
Hoo boy. Kankuro had things in store for him.

Asuma was stunned by the sudden on-coming of all his team members that he completely forgot about telling Dakama about how to 'extend' the chakra. "Yes, I'm Asuma... and put your hand away, no need for such greetings." He reached for his cigarette and puffed one last time, it was then pulled from his mouth, dropped and stepped on. It was completely put out. While taking out another cigarette and preparing to light, he managed to say, "First I want to know how well you'll expect certain things. I have never done this with my previous groups, but I have good feelings about this one. I feel so good about y'all that I will skip the target practice and chakra focus completely!" He successfully light his cigarette and slipped out... "Hide-n-seek..." A hand sign was soon made and all of the sudden the words were spoken "Ash burning product!" Asuma faced his three genin and his cigarette suddenly exploded.(Not harming Asuma) He focused the jutsu to where it was like a disappearing act, nothing to harm his students. After the explosion extremely hot ashes floated in the air... my advice is, don't walk through it. Asuma is now gone.

Dakama was as well shocked by the suddent coming of both her teammates. She blinked in silence and lowered her scythe to her side, watching Amaya and Kankuro with a soft interest. So these two were her new teammates, were they?
She looked at Asuma as his cigaretted exploded into ashes. Without even thought she leapt back from where she stood and at a good distance to make sure that none of the scolding hot ashes touched her. What kind of training was hide-and-seek and cigarette exploding? Was this Asuma-sensei's method of teaching?
If so, it was very strange.

With barely a chance to fully evaluate the burly man, Kankuro was left covering his face from the hovering ashes, wondering once more why exactly he'd left the relatively sane safety of his home village. The sensei here were lunatics.
Wrinkling his nose at the sharp scent of burning cigarette remains, the puppet master sidestepped; the cat's ear extensions swayed when he turned on the spot to gaze at Dakama. Although the scythe looked slightly intimidating, Kankuro didn't expect much of the young kunoichi. The only women he'd ever really respected were his mother, as well as his older sister Temari. Girls who couldn't defend themselves were as good as a corpse to him.
Without acknowledging his new teammates, he glanced round, as if expecting Asuma to suddenly reappear. What kind of exercise was this, anyway?

Ahh...so Kankuro did not dodge. Fool. Deal with smoke, ashes and scolding for not moving. Was it smarter to say that it was simply easier to dodge. But the look he gave her was rather annoying. Something about it, the thoughts it hid. She stood up from her crouched position and walked forward once again, eyes locked on Kankuro. "You are Kankuro, am I correct?" she asked as she tightened her fist at her side.
Without a seconds hesitation she raised it and slugged Kankuro, not her toughtest hit, but it would perhaps cause a bloody nose...if she was lucky. She narrowed her eyes and watched him, Mishu climbing up her arms to rest on her shoulders, hissing at Kankuro. Dakama turned and headed a few steps away, eyes alert for perhaps Asuma-sensei. "one thing you learn about me, Kankuro. Don't look at me if you can avoid it." she said, voice scathing. She didn't like this kid one bit.
Ooc/ Sorreh if I didn't give a chance for Kankuro to dodge. It would've ruined the point...T.T

With barely a moment's notice, the girl's fist connected with his jaw, sending him staggering back a step. Kankuro brought up a gloved hand, rubbing the throbbing spot slightly, as Dakama snarled her warning. Cocking his head, the puppet master eyed her with a smirk, surprisingly enough.
"And I suggest you watch who you mess with," he growled with a crack of his neck, restraining the clawing urge to assault her for the uncalled-for attack.
Thinking better of it, he instead turned away, crouching to examine the stifling cloud of scalding ashes a few yards away, as if hoping to extract a clue or two from it.

Dakama's eyes scorched Kankuro's back as he turned, but she did not reply. She had made her point. She turned and looked around. Were they supposed to look for Asuma-sensei, or something else? He did say hide-and seek...so she could only guess she assumptions were correct.

Deciding just standing there like a stone wasn't going to get them anywhere, Kankuro pushed himself up from the ground, vanishing in a small cloud of dust in midair. Besides, getting away from that little bitch and her rat was more than excuse enough for the puppeteer.
Alighting on a thick branch, he scanned the forest for signs of his sensei, his painted lips fixed in a derisive grimace.
So much for a near-decent beginning.

Dakama watched Kankuro leave with little emotion on the matter. Figuring to follow as he had done, she took off leaving Amaya alone.
She now stood a couple meters away, still keeping a wary eye out for her sensei. She moved farther, seeing him nowhere in sight.

Asuma quietly climbed up the tree and tapped Kankuro on the should. ((This may seem like god-mode, I am sorry if it does, but it won't be anything major.)) As a natural reactions, Kankuro turned around. Anuma landed a weak, non-damaging punch to his face that was meant to knock him of balance. Asuma was trying to knock him out of the tree. "I meant, YOU hide and I seek!"

Haynuto moved slightly from the scalding ashes. 'Huh...' She tough in a very annoyed matter. 'I hate smokers.' She glanced around causiously((Spelling gone wrong)). She decided she would have to move, accounting both her teammates were gone. She sighed and quickly jumped to around the middle of a rustic oak tree. She waited for the slightest movement. ooc||Hey, I'm sorry I'm never on when the rest of you are. It would be a lot easier that way... Sorry.

Dakama blinked to herself, finally getting what Asuma had meant. Oh... If that was the case, she'd better just hide. She turned and leapt away from the open and into the nearest bramble bush, where she lay in the shadow of its nestles. It would have to work.

Haynuto noticed that her girl teammate had moved to hide. So this is what he was doing. Haynuto nodded slightly in a way knowing. She smiled.
