Name: Kadohata Hayaka
Age: 12
Gender: Female
Rank: Genin
Appearance: She has dark brown hair that barely brushes her shoulders. A thin, single braid runs down the left side of her face, held with a scarlet tie. Her eyes are a dark brown, bordering on black, usually shining with an excited gleam. She’s tall for her age, hovering around 5’7”, with a thin, lanky build and a complexion that is slightly darker than normal. She normally wears dark blue pants that end about two inches below her knees. Her shirt is short-sleeved, with the sleeves colored a silver-gray. A single stripe of the same color runs along the bottom of the shirt. A silver charm in the shape of a star hangs from a black cord around her neck. She wears her kunai holster around her left leg, along with what looks like a miniature holster as well, which holds her cards. Her hitai-ate is situated so that the bottom covers her hairline. Her feet are clad in the usual shinobi footwear, while a small, dark tan pouch in slung around her waist.
Personality: Hayaka is normally a happy-go-lucky person, with a slight sour side. She has a wicked sense of humor and a hefty dose of sarcasm as well, one that she exercises fairly often. She is actually very intelligent, but you probably wouldn’t be able to tell when you first meet her, since she’s probably more interested in the random squirrel running across the grass. She can be easily distracted if she’s doing something she defines as boring, which is when you’re not having fun, or you’re not doing something she would say is relevant to being a ninja. But if it is something that catches her interest, she will do everything she can to do whatever the situation requires. She has a pretty even-keeled temper, but she holds grudges for an extremely long time. And if she has a grudge against you, you will know. Unless you’re blind, and then there’s no help for you. She doesn’t really care for rules, but she will follow them, while trying to find a loophole.
History: Hayaka was born into the Kadohata clan on September 2nd. She lived with her father, mother, and later her two younger sisters in their average-sized house in Konohagakure. But when she was five, her father was killed in action. Soon afterward, her mother’s brother, her uncle Ichiro, became a familiar fixture at their home.
He taught her the Seirei Jobidashi no Jutsu, and gave Hayaka her very first card. She was eager to try it out. So ten-year old Hayaka first tried the jutsu in from of her family, and lost control or the cougar she turned into. Ichiro was able to subdue her, but not before she had injured her youngest sister, Hoshi. The girl recovered, but has a scar on her arm still.
Ever since then, Hayaka has been deathly afraid of Seirei Jobidashi no Jutsu, and refuses to use it unless she absolutely has to. And because of that fear, she has only a small amount of control on the Yuukai no Jutsu. And although she dearly wants to overcome it, she’s afraid of an accident like Hoshi’s.

Battle Information
Weapons: Kunai, shuriken, and her cards. (She only has a cougar card for now).
Known Jutsus:
Seirei Jobidashi No Jutsu: By wiping blood on a card, she will transform into that animal. The animal has a will of its own, however, and will try to take control. This consumes a massive amount of chakra, and will leave Hayaka drained, at the very least.
Yuukai no Jutsu: This is a halfway stage for Seirei Jobidashi no Jutsu. Essentially, she will develop some characteristics of the chosen animal, such as claws or ears, and gains the abilities of those features, such as better hearing for ears, the claws being used to attack, etc. These features will stay as long as Hayaka can procure enough chakra for them, otherwise the will fade. She has much more control, seeing as she only receives a portion of the animal’s instincts and will, but can still easily exhaust her.
And she knows the basic Academy jutsus fairly well.
Main fighting style: Alternating between speed and strength, she will try to beat an opponent into submission.
Example of Writing:
Night lay over the forested landscape, unbroken except for the light coming from the sliver of moon that was visible.
An owl perched on an oak tree, searching to the telltale noises of prey. His head swiveled suddenly. This… this was a noise he hadn’t heard in a long time. He took off silently, automatically tracking the noise. The faint mewling of a young kit grew louder, and soon he was swooping right over the kit. He clacked his beak in satisfaction, and dove.
Suddenly, a furious, yowling shape erupted from the brush. Latching its claws onto the owl, the tomcat hissed, his dark tabby body gleaming darkly. The cat was gargantuan, but not fat. He was built more along the lines of a furry bulldozer. He sank his fangs into the feathers of the owl, then jumped away, landing on the ground with his back arched, ready to attack again.
The owl shrieked, and winged clumsily away, spraying the ground below it with drops of blood. The tomcat gave a grunt of satisfaction, then padded over to the young kit.
He could tell several things immediately by its scent. It was a she-cat; she was only a few days old; and she didn’t belong to a Clan, judging from the scents of leaf-mold and earth coming from her.
Rustling came from the bushes behind him. The cat whirled around, jaws parted in a ferocious snarl.
Several cats stepped forward. The first, a silver, average-sized tabby tom with a white chest and paws, blinked. “Oh, so that was you, Timberpelt,” he said dryly. “For some reason, I’m not surprised.”
Another large cat, this one white splotched with black, snorted, eyeing the dark brown tabby. “Everstar, only Timberpelt could make that noise.”
Timberpelt raised his head proudly. “Thanks for the compliment. I’ll keep it in mind, Maskheart.”
A she-cat, her pelt a mix of mottled browns and oranges, stepped forward, amber eyes curious. “Is that a kit?” she asked.
Timberpelt nodded. “Yes, Ambersong. She’s only a couple days old, and she’s weak.”
Ambersong nodded decisively, and nudged the last cat, a half-grown gray tom. “Flightpaw, run back to the store and fetch a half –no, better make it a quarter- portion of the traveling herbs. Quickly!” she added when the apprentice just stood there.
Flightpaw nodded and darted off. The cats could hear his hurried steps for several moments before the darkness swallowed them up.
Everstar stepped forward, bending his head so he could examine the kit. “That’s odd… Why would a mother abandon her kit now? Leaf-bare just finished, so there’ll soon be plenty of prey..”
Maskheart grunted dismissively. “Peh. Who knows why rogues act the way they do. Personally, I think we should get rid of her now. She’ll probably die in a couple suns anyway.”
Ambersong shouldered the tom aside, a bit more forceful then was necessary. Everstar moved out of the medicine cat’s way. She would know what to do.
The she-cat looked down at the young she-kit, then froze. Slowly, the fur on her spine began to raise, as if she was facing an army of badgers. The gentle Ambersong suddenly looked twice her size. Her wide eyes looked up at the sliver of moon.
Then, then moon disappeared.
The three toms gasped, but the darkness lasted for only a moment.
The shadow lifted as quickly as it had come.
Maskheart was the first to speak. “Pfft.. Just a bird’s wing, blocking the moon,” he scoffed weakly.
“Why would birds fly at night? The only ones that do are owls, and the one I chased off isn’t coming back that soon,” Timberpelt murmured.
Everstar said nothing, but looked at Ambersong. The medicine cat still remained frozen. “Ambersong…”
The medicine cat slowly relaxed, then turned around to face her leader. “StarClan…. StarClan sent a prophecy…” she whispered, horror still in her eyes.
“Well, what did they say?” Maskheart said impatiently, claws sinking into the ground.
Ambersong muttered something.
“Speak louder! For StarClan’s sake –“ Maskheart ended abruptly as
Timberpelt cuffed him. The black-and-white tom glared at the younger warrior. “Let her speak,” he growled softly.
Ambersong looked Everstar in the eyes, and nervously shifted her body before she spoke.
“A veil has fallen, and the future is shadowed.”
