Appearance:
Miyu has black hair that drops down between her chin and shoulders, evenly leveled in the back, and a shorter length in the front. Her eyes are deep brown color, usually seen as black when looked from far away. The girl wears her hitai-ate in various places; usually around her neck, but sometimes on her forehead. There's nothing much to say about her facial features, except they aren't really bony, but they don't appear to show any baby fat either.
The girl is about 5' 4 and a quarter inch tall, weighting a little below 100 lbs. (approx. 95 lbs) Her body is lean, and holds many tight muscles, not shown to be very big, but marking the fact that she has been training daily, and is strong. Miyu wears three layers of shirts. The first one is a small, very short-sleeved t-shirt, topped by a longer mesh shirt that reaches down to her waist. On top of the thin mesh shirt is a black belly shirt, on which the sleeves reach halfway down the upper arms. For pants, the girl has matching black shorts that go down just above the knees, leaving some skin surface for the decorative bandage wrapping that continue down past the ankles, and to where her gray zori, ninja sandals, take place by covering up her feet. Miyu's hands are covered with fingerless gloves, each backside of the fabric bearing the Yae clan symbol; the feathers, which cross by the stems, and point upwards, with a kunai slicing through the middle, in the same direction as the feathers.
Personality:
Miyu's personality often depends on what mood she is in. A bad day might bring her up as a foul, and non-caring person, while another day she'll be in her best moods ever. It's not hard to distinguish what mood the girl is in; all you need to do is look into her eyes, which usually tell what kind of personality she has at that time.
During battles, the kunoichi shows a determined mind, and is a skilled strategist. Her intelligence level might not be as high as Shikamaru's, but Miyu has an extraordinary way of fooling an enemy she is up against. Before battles, the girl tries to keep calm, and collected so that she can collect any possible information on her opponent before proceeding any further.
Generally, Yae Miyu can be a wonderful kunoichi to be near, as long as others mind what they say. A wrong statement might find the stater on the ground a few feet away from where they originally where. She also believes that comrades come before her own well-being.
History:
The 21st day of May brought a healthy newborn girl to a young woman in her early twenties. The girl was named Miyu, after no one special from the clan of Yae. As a tradition, when the girl arrived to her third birth date, her mother presented her with a bird's egg; every three-year-old in the clan would be given an egg, ninja or not, for a life companion. The egg hatched a week later, revealing a black bird with a dip of red feathers on both shoulders. Together, Miyu and the bird, dubbed Kurotori, meaning 'black bird', grew up like normal children did in the village.
At age eight, Miyu began to attend the Konoha Ninja Academy, along with Kurotori. Despite the fact that he wasn't allowed inside the building at all times, the kunoichi-to-come left the avian home mostly, to be cared by her mother. One rain filled day, as Miyu had returned from the academy to an empty house. The clan elders had explained that her mother had yet gone out on a mission, somewhere outside of the Fire Country. Eagerly as she waited, Miyu continued to take care of herself and her bird. Two weeks went by, and yet no sign of her mother. With a strong belief that her parent would return, Miyu continued to wait for her mother to come back. The longer Miyu waited, the elders decided to take her under their wing, knowing that her mother would probably not return from the mission.
And then the time came when the girl's will to believe that her mother would in fact, return, died out. Little sadness crept over the life that she had once known. The elders still cared for her, but Miyu knew well that they couldn't keep on caring for her like they had for the past months. After having a long discussion with the elders, they together, decided to let Miyu live in a house, by herself, but still within the boundaries of the clan. Ever since her tenth birthday, Miyu had started to wonder who her father was. The question was left unanswered by many, even by the elders of the Yae clan. Up to the current date, the kunoichi hasn't discovered about who her father was, or of his whereabouts.

Battle Information
Weapons:
Ninja weapons; kunai, shuriken, and explosive notes. Companion; Kurotori, a black bird about the size of Miyu's head (a little smaller, though).
Known Jutsus:
Jūjin Bunshin (Human Beast Clone) A modified version of a transformation technique, this jutsu allows a user to transform their animal companion into a perfect copy of themselves.
Jibaku Fuda: Kassei (Exploding Tag: Activate) Utilizing chakra, the user is able to activate the explosion mechanism of a distant bomb tag.
Kawarimi no Jutsu (Body Replacement Technique) This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, or even another person within reach, leaving the opponent open to a counter-attack.
Kakuremino no Jutsu (Cloak of Invisibility Technique) This jutsu allows a ninja to take a cloak or a piece of cloth and blend into an object, making them invisible.
Bunshin no Jutsu (Clone Jutsu) This technique creates intangible clones of the user. The clones are simply illusions and will dissipate when they come into contact with something. The illusions can be seen through by the Byakugan and the Sharingan. A person with normal eyes can also distinguish the clones from the original, since the clones will not disrupt the area around themselves with their movement (won't kick up dust, crush grass, etc.).
Nawanuke no Jutsu (Rope Escape Technique) A basic jutsu taught at the Konoha Ninja Academy, this jutsu allows a ninja to free themselves if they have been tied up.
Henge no Jutsu (Transformation Technique) This jutsu allows the user to assume the appearance of another person, animal, or object.
Main fighting style:
Some taijutsu, but relies on Kurotori and her weapons most of the time.
