Shino had dug his hand, back into the pocket. Now, he was looking and the ground, watching something.
"You would have squished him, then he wouldn't have been well after that..." Shino stated, calmly.
Passing by Ino's feet was a large spider...Not too huge, but, a good sized. Shino was obviously watching it before while Ino was busy greeting the teacher. Just like him to protect the 'life' of a think much smaller than he was.
"Thank you for not steping on him." he then muttered.
Shino's eyes were still continuing to watch the spider, through the dark shades. At least the spider and everyone else was well. Now, possibly, Shino could move on with life.

Blinking, she cast bright eyes downward to eye the spider at her feet; just one. Now, while she had to say that she was mildly squeamish around that mass bug technique the Aburame utilized, individual insects and the like had never bothered her as much as they could – Ino looked after a flower shop after all, and bugs were part of the job description.
Well what do you know? It was a parallel to her job as a kunoichi, and she didn’t even have to look far to match it.
With an odd look on her face, she settled herself again, shifting her feet cautiously away from the small creature and careful not to step on anything else. Aburame Shino was perhaps one of the strangest individuals she’d ever met; Uzumaki Naruto and Mitsami Seryou included.
After a moment, the Yamanaka girl nodded respectfully, deciding that a simple reply was best. “Thank you for preventing me from doing so.”
It was good to have a careful eye on things, right?

Shino sighed, lightly. His gaze was still set on the spider, which was quickly making its way through the dirt and grass.
"I doubt we would want what is left over on your feet, either." he mumbled. "So, that was useful for both you and the bug...And possibly the others whom would most likely have on interest in seeing the aftermath."
Shino had now settled his stare on Ino, an eyebrow slightly raised.
-At least someone figures out it is wrong to squish them.- Shino thought, slightly annoyed. -But, it just had to be this girl...I guess it is somewhat safe to say there is a brain somewhere in that head of her's.-

“Well no,” Ino agreed, not minding the measuring look the other was now giving her. “I don’t suppose what’s left over would be all too productive myself.” Seriously, though, what more could she say? Something within her sincerely doubted that Shino would be much amused if she began to babble about the glories of the small and so forth because doubtless he already knew and it was a stupid conversational topic anyway. And then another thing – why the hell was their sensei so quiet? And Nokawa? She was mildly impatient to get going, but a kunoichi always had to exercise calm. I mean really – she had to make up for letting Aburame grate on her nerves.
“I apologize in advance for pointing out the obvious, but I suppose we can agree on that, in the least.”

ooc|| Rah. I'm so sorry. D: My mom banned my sister and me from the computer for a few days, so I'm going to make up for lost time now. Hopefully my post will cover at least some of the events that have been going on. ^-^;
bic|| "Hai, I am Nokawa Kita." Kita hadn't expected much of a greeting from either, but the disgusted looks on their faces were tell-tale. The flamboyant grin quickly melted into a kitsune-faced grimace at their reactions; exercising teamwork with these two was going to be a trip and a half. Shino didn't seem half-bad, but Ino... erlack. Kita made a mental note to stay the hell away from her on bad days.
'Don't... call me that.'
It seemed the Aburame took Kita's mannerisms as a personal insult. Ha. Bug-boy was a touchy one, after all, despite his cool, calm, and collected shell. Or, in this case, exoskeleton would have been a more appropriate term.
Placing a hand on the hilt of one of his katana in a relaxed manner, he cocked his head to one side. "I must apologize, then, if you find my non-lack of manners disturbing. I would suggest you remember I am not of Konohagakure, and therefore my upbringing just may differ from yours, am I not correct?" Hiding the aggravated clip from his tone, Kita curled one corner of his lip at his new teammates as they delved into an exchange of insults. This was pathetic. "Will I be forced to separate you two every time something like this happens? I'm positive enemy shinobi would find your conflict amusing, at least until you get yourselves killed." he snarled slightly, allowing a small roll of the eyes to express his distaste.
Finally deciding to let the thing go, he wandered over to the tree Shino had just occupied, he dropped himself on the grass unceremoniously, eyeing the green matter curiously. Obviously, being from Suna, there wasn't much of a chance to examine plants, save for the Medical Corps' greenhouse, but even then it was a scarce selection, for the controlled environment was reserved for herbs and tinctures for the infirmary.
When sensei finally saw fit to arrive, Kita averted his eyes from the ground and gave an appraising glance to the man. He wasn't that old, he judged, perhaps only a few years older than the Nokawa himself. Doubting his skill level, the Suna-nin pushed himself up from the ground and approached his new sensei, bowing curtly in greeting. "Konnichi wa, Tabito-sensei." he muttered shortly, then folding his arms in wait.
Whoopee. Kita rolled his eyes for the second time, throughly unexcited about his new team. Unknowingly, he repeated the exact words Kankuro had muttered only a couple of hours before, though in a different concept.
"Why did I ever leave Suna for this?"

Watching the two teammates continue bickering, Eisuke lifted his hands in front of him in a 'protective' manner suggesting, "Okay, easy you two. As teammates, you'll have to learn to get along, even if you don't like each other. And Kita has a point."
Moving on, the Jounin continued, "Now the first thing is to introduce yourselves. Put in anything that you might want your teammates to know about. I'll go first, just to give you an idea." Before going on, he took a deep breath. "As you already know, my name is Tabito Eisuke. My main fighting style includes using this shuriken on my back, plus two other kunai that I keep in my summoning scrolls. And.... that's all you need to know for now," Eisuke explained, slipping a grin on his facial expression.

"I would think you're a bit late with that, Tabito-sensei; it seems as though the problem is temporarily at a stand-point," Ino responded firmly, glancing back towards Shino and his unreadable posture. "But I'm sure we'll amend whatever issue quickly for the profession's sake."
She kept her position, watching as the Sunagakure genin collapsed beneath Shino's tree and examined the plant-life, paying both her team-mates a fraction of her hearing while her attention was fixed on their sensei.
How... enlightening, Ino mused dryly, shaking her head a moving on. But at least we have his supposed style; if he prefers weaponry it suggests a well-built figure to both close and medium range combat so... I doubt we'll be learning much long-range work from Tabito-sensei, which means we'll have to hope one of us will take a skill to it...
"Yamanaka Ino," introduced the flower-femme. "Yamanaka ninja specialize in mind-manipulation ninjutsu, often used for spying, interrogation, tracking and reconnaissance." Tweaking a flower absently, Ino added, gesturing absently towards her bouquet, "I suppose you'll find me most often at work decorating tombstones - though it would probably be simpler to avoid me at that point. It's easy enough for flower-girls to smuggle in and barter for poisons without batting an eye-lash, since everyone disregards the ingredients they collect."

Kita raised his eyes from the grass lazily when Tabito-sensei suggested they introduce themselves. Ignoring most of the older man's speech, he then pushed himself off the trunk of the tree, moving closer to Shino, who was as silent as ever.
Once the Yamanaka girl had finished with her bit of clan history, Kita half-raised a hand, as if to indicate he was willing to go next.
"Nokawa Kita is my name. I am fifteen years old. I hail from Kaze no Kuni, Sunagakure no Sato. I am not going to reveal my style of fighting, as doing so is like marching into an enemy compound and allowing yourself to be killed like an insect. My hobbies are really none of your business, but I spend most of my free time observing nature."
Adding a curt nod as a sign that he was done, Kita fell back beside Shino, waiting for the bug-nin to offer his own little "F.A.Q"

We'll have to evaluate, so it seems - and guess. Shinobi can be adept at several fighting styles at once by the time they're thirteen, considering also how harsh they are on performance with Sunagakure nin - very high standard, so he'll probably fight one way in training and in a completely different nature during combat...
Though musing this, Ino's absent demeanor displayed nothing but her air-headed appearence; the calculations, a learned manner of thinking disciplined by her father, were perhaps no genius assumptions but the usual necessary lot.
Glancing back at Shino - it seemed like he and Nokawa-kun were going to be bossom buddies - she entertained the idea that he wouldn't speak; well. If he could argue, he could certainly introduce himself.
"Enlightening," She bid contradictorily to Kita. "I suppose we'll just have to put up imaginary boundaries considering your talents by what we see in training. It must be quite the trouble hiding your fighting style during combat practice, so I'll have to commend you in advance." There was that cheerful smile again that seemed to express absolutely nothing, a professional look, and Ino waited for her last team-mate to say... something.

Shino did not say a word. There was nothing to say, was there? Everything was already known about him...Well, enough to say it was enough of information in the first place. This shinobi had no interest in sharing much information on himself. No one ever wished to know about Shino, either way. People just saw him as...Strange...
-Yamanaka is able to preform Shintenshin no Jutsu. Something that can prove to be useful, however, has its own limits.- Shino thought, staring down at the grass. -And Nokawa...There is not enough information on this person...But, I am sure he has enough sense to keep her own battle ways to herself.-
The boy brought his gaze from off the ground, now appearing to look foward. It was hard to say what Shino was gazing at, due to his dark sunglasses that were covering his eyes. However, he was looking at Ino, with no reason, whatsoever. So, he was actually going to try to get involved with the conversation now...
"I am Aburame Shino." Shino stated, tone quite blunt as before. "I usually specialize in tracking other shinobi."
The boy did not go any further. Hm. Maybe he should not start going on about the ways he could use those 'special' things inside of him to help him fight...

So the Yamanaka brat wanted to piss him off? Alright, then. Kita leaned forward, his shoulder briefly brushing against Shino's as he fixed a cold stare on the sole female of their team, mustering every droplet of his Suna arrogance into that glare. "I apologize for not providing you with what you'd consider adequate information on my specific preferences, Yamanaka-koi," he snarled, putting deliberate emphasis on '-koi', just to see her shudder in disgust.
He had nothing against Shino, though the bug-nin had already made clear he wasn't to be called -love-; it was just this particular girl's 'I'm-the-leader-so-you'd-best-obey' attitute that jerked a nerve.
Kita immediately felt sorry for anyone that had shared the same classroom with her during her academy days.
Ew.

So Kita had a temper, hm? It was fabulous that the sand-nin could so quickly find something to snarl about, having just scoffed at she and Shino for spatting as they had; she hadn’t meant to be riling, but the blonde was bound to point out such small facts. There was nothing offensive about her tone and, quite technically, about her words, so it absolutely tickled the Yamanaka girl that Kita could screw up his face like that.
It was almost like Aggressive!Shino.
Bright turquoise eyes fixed themselves airily upon him, a calculating practicality making the expression shrewd and disdainful though she didn’t flinch this time at his use of ‘koi’; merely inclined an eyebrow as though to say ‘You’re still using that, are you?’ and pulled one of the smaller, supporting flowers from her bouquet, having switched her shuriken to the flora-laden hand.
Considering it a moment she felt childishly tempted to flick his forehead but settled on something a little more aggravating. The calm, professional smile bathing her expression, Ino’s tone was sweet and unbothered, eyes countering Kita’s arrogance with her own brand of cocky pride.
“Aw, it’s so sensitive of you to apologize, Kita-kun; you’re really sweet.” Tossing back her bangs there was such a hint of smugness in her expression that she seemed to be suddenly smirking; in a swift movement she jerked her arm up and shot the flower stem sharply at his forehead, making his glare seem all the more laughable to her. As the poor thing bounced off his forehead, she added, “And I’d apologize for seeming caustic, but you seem all the dither about being that way yourself, so I’ll pretend that I meant to in the first place. I hope you’re capable of handling a little Konoha brat like me, Nokawa-kun; it would be a shame if, for all your ninja training, you couldn’t pretend not to take offense. Is Tabito-sensei going to have to separate us?”
It was clear that she’d paid attention to his remark despite she and Shino squabbling (what had he said? Something along the lines of - 'am I going that have to seperate you whenever this happens?'), but Ino didn’t let the boy irk her this time around; it seemed the kunoichi had gotten her irritancy out of her system with Shino, and her flippant remarks – yet, they really weren’t meant to insult the two shinobi at that point – were a clear show of it.
What’re you going to say now, you half-assed bastards? ‘Inner’ Ino sniggered, noting the flower she’d dashed at Kita absently and deciding it was not yet safe to retrieve.
