Anko, enticed more by the scent of food, turned to her two genin students, Kiba and Hinata." Come on you two! My grandma can walk faster!" she teased as she finally reached the stand and took a seat on the stool.
She had come with two of her three students in hopes of meeting the other teams, though they didn't appear to be any other teams here yet. How dissapointing. She shrugged. At least she was getting on a little better with Kiba and Hinata, though her habit of teasing Kiba had already formed.
Gaara had decided not to come leaving the three to come together. And Anko was getting hungrier by the minute.

Hinata still somehow felt cheerful despite the events of the day so far. She was cheerful for a number of reasons. For one, she was now recognised as a Genin, and although she had already had some ups and downs with the team, she still found them pretty much fine to be around. The only team mate she perhaps felt a little awkward around was Gaara, although that was probably to be expected considering Akamaru's reaction to the boy.
When she had finally got to the stand, she paused, feeling a little hesitant now. She personally preffered it if everyone was happy rather than just having one person not so happy. Well, she was with people she would soon grow familiar around...
"Anko-sensei, w-would you mind if I..." Hinata started, trailing off, whilst indicating to the empty seat.

Anko looked at Hinata and laughed." Of course you may, Hinata! I saved it just for you." she said with a wink. She then looked around."Where is Kiba?" she asked. She shrugged, he would be here soon.
She turned her attention to the chef and smiled." I'll have...chicken ramen." she said with a nod. The chef returned it and went to work.

Kiba quietly slumped into the shop, looking a bit unhappy...Mostly with himself.
Akamaru was yawning as Kiba took a seat, not next to Hinata, but, the one next to it, a seat free in between them. He silently slipped his hood off his head (because even he should have table some manners ), Akamaru blinking bearily.
"..."
Kiba had lost his need for food, all in the short moment between then and the end of the first 'training' session. Drama was already burning a hole in his carefree sheet of life. Darn.

Hinata, who had now taken a seat next to Anko, looked a little confused at Kiba's seat preferance. Had she missed something? Maybe she should have been paying more attention to what had been going on rather than just switching off from the world, even if for a few minutes. She opened her mouth to ask Kiba just why he had left a seat between the two of them, but hesitated instead. That was his business, and not her own.
"I'll also h-have chicken ramen, p-please," Hinata ordered, before looking back over at Kiba.

Akamaru slipped off of Kiba's head, onto the table, whimpering quietly. Kiba didn't pay much attention, head turned away from Hinata's direction, even the table in front of him. The small dog nudged his human companion who reluctantly turned his head, sighing. It wasn't looking directly at the sensei and teammate, but, it still hurt.
"Same...For the dog..."
Yep. Kiba was ordering lunch for Akamaru, whom titled his head slightly in question.

The chef nodded, back still turned to the customers as he put on more ramen. Anko looked at her students, also confused wy Kiba had preferred a chair between him and his teammate. Was he mad at Hinata? Or just being the one who needed alone time?

Hinata was once again tempted to make some sort of comment... to try and get to the bottom of what was going on but just like she usually would, she held her tongue instead. Maybe Kiba just wanted to think over what had happened today..?
Yeah, that was probably right. Even if she was a little too naive in some situations, Hinata had already decided that this would be the best explanation for something like this. The silence coming from the members of the team that was currently there was a little... overpowering, perhaps?

Kiba's left eye twitched slightly as his gaze turned to Hinata's.
"..."
He stared at her for what seemed like quite a while, feeling a bit sick. Almost like upchucking...But, not. Not a great feeling, especially while at the ramen stand. Kiba shut his eyes for a moment, turning foward in his seat. There was a moment of silence that followed, with deep thinking.
"...Hinata-san?"

"Hey Kiba, why don't you scoot over? Sit next to you teamate?" she suggested as she motioned to the seat he had left open. She smiled up at the chef as he dropped the ramen in front of her and Hinata. She took a bite and nodded." Very good." she said as she handed him some money. She turned back to Kiba, mouth full." Aren't'cha going to eat?" she asked as she swallowed the bite.

Kiba frowned slightly, opening his eyes, focring himself to move over a seat, next to Hinata. Akamaru slowly walked across the table, sniffing the ramen.
"Better not stick your face in it..." Kiba muttered to the dog.

Anko smiled and picked out a chicken bit and placed it next to Akamaru's nose." Here ya go, little guy!" she said, still smiling, before just taking a few more and putting them on her napkin for Akamaru to snack on. She had already taken a liking to the little dog.

Blankly staring at the ramen in front of her for a few moments, Hinata snapped back into reality smiling, "Itadakimasu!"
When Kiba had moved to sit next to her Hinata couldn't help but feel a little happier. Even if Kiba didn't want to be there, at least he made an effort, which was more than she could say for some people. Deciding that maybe letting the ramen cool a little before even considering eating it, Hinata turned to face Kiba when he had almost asking of her.
"What i-is it, Kiba-kun?" she asked.

Akamaru started nibbling on the chicken, Kiba now avoiding Hinata's eyes. He had one elbow on the table, leaning his chin slightly against his hand. However, Kiba had sat up, arm still on the table.
His eyes turned slightly to Hinata, then, up at the ceiling.
"What reason do you have for...liking Naruto?" Kiba questioned, voice quite low.

Anko smiled at Akamaru but continued to listen to Hinata and Kiba. She was interested in the topic for these two. Genin love. Even if tey did deny it. She took another bite and chewed thoughtfully on it, watching them.
