Kiba blinked.
-The kid finally responded.- he thought, sighing.
Akamaru was busy whimpering.

"You okay, boy...?" Kiba questioned Akamaru, in a murmur.
Akamaru was acting up today...Obviously this Gaara kid was no good. What other reason could there be to Akamaru's attitude? He was perfectly fine this morning...

[Dazar]

Anko's face softened into a smile and she turned back to the others as well." Kiba, Hinata and Gaara. It looks like I have a fine team here." she said. A lie. they all appeared to have so many weaknesses, she felt like she could poke them and the'd all explode. She sighed. "Alright, Maggots, I want you to each take a target.." she pointed to three targets posted nearby," And show me what you can do. Try just taijutsu first, before you use ninjutsu." she ordered.

Kiba clearly figured it was a lie.
And, he had no interest in going first. He had to 'introduce' himself first, so, maybe one of the other teammembers were willing to go first...?
But, Kiba secretly doubted it.
-So, the sensei already thinks of us as fools...How awful is this day starting out...?-

[Dazar]

Anko's eyes rested on Kiba and Akamaru before she stopped and looked past him. A young girl was approaching the trio of students, but stopped at a distance, appearantly to watch. Anko eyed her for a moment before turning back to her students."Don't everyone go at once." she said sarcastically before she pointed to the targets."Come on you maggots, get moving!"

Tayuya stood at a distance, figuring it wise to stay there. She had left her teammates, having found them unbearable. And that sensei wasn't even going to bother showing up with the pace she was going. So she stood, watching them all, curious.

Kiba turned around, spotting the girl as well. Akamaru begun his whimpering again, Kiba frowning.

-This day...These people...It's all...weird...- he thought. -I don't even know her. I am sure she isn't in our group...-

Akamaru clung onto Kiba's hair, worse than before, Kiba clenching a fist by his side, wincing.

"Ow...Ow...Akamaru...!"

[Meimei]

Now that Gaara had introduced himself, Hinata finally felt a little more at ease with the group, although Anko’s comment had almost disheartened her. ’Everyone on the team of than myself, she thought to herself, almost bitterly. Once again, she found herself almost wincing at the term ‘maggots’ although this time she had managed to restrain herself from doing so. Listening to Anko’s instructions, Hinata couldn’t help but ask, “Taijutsu?” It was as though she needed to find some sort of assurance that she wasn’t going to make any mistakes by doing something completely wrong on her first day, and although her family’s fighting style was taijutsu, it wasn’t Hinata’s strongest area.

Following the gaze of Kiba, Hinata turned her head a little to look at the newcomer, before looking away. She would have preffered if there were no spectators, although that was once again wishful thinking.

[Dazar]

Tayuya turned, about to leave when she was tapped on the shoulder. She turned to spot a silver haired girl.(Dakama) Dakama blinked and looked at her."Are you on my team?" Tayuya snorted." I wish..." she said angrily. Dakama remained silent as her pocket began to squirm. She reached down and picked up a white and orange tabby cat and placed it on her shoulders, where it stared angrily at them all, having been awoken.

Anko looked up again. Another girl? She blinked and then sighed." Are you kids stupid? Go train! Show me what you can do! You don't have to do it one at a time..Just...GO!" she yelled. This team was so frustrating.She turned to Hinata" Yes, Taijutsu. After I see some of that, you can use ninjutsu." she said.

Kiba was still wincing from Akamaru's claws.
"Hinata...Aren't you going to go...?" he whispered to her. "It will build up some confidence...And, I need to dig Akamaru out of my hair..."

Kiba pushed his hood off, revealing Akamaru trying to dig himself into Kiba's head, looking terrified. Akamaru started whimpering, once in contact with the light, going down Kiba's back, Kiba wincing even more, then hid in the front of the boy's jacket.

[[ dee. ]]

Gaara glanced down at Anko again, for soon after he’d introduced himself he had let his eyes up to stare at the sky. Listlessly daydreaming, Gaara heard only too well his sensei’s request. ‘Taijutsu?’ He questioned to himself, wondering if this jounin knew anything about her team at all. Of course, this sensei was getting a bit aggravated when no one decided to ‘show-off’ a bit.

Deciding there was nothing better to do other than kill Anko or listen to her, Gaara leapt from his perch to the ground with a soft thump. Standing just a few yard from his team, glaring at them all, he began to wonder why the Hyuuga girl hadn’t moved. Seeing as he’d heard the Hyuuga clan was quite good at taijutsu and all.

Turning towards Anko, and taking a look at the two other girls watching the show, Gaara sighed and began to speak. “And if we aren’t able to do taijutsu?” He questioned, thinking of making a sand clone and making it do taijutsu for him.

Kiba watched Gaara, rubbing his head, which was now brown with a bit of red.
-Do I even know anything of taijutsu...?- he questioned, as Akamaru was squirming around in the jacket. -That is something...I never really put thought into. Great.-
He continued to watch the eyebrowless guy, wondering if he had a weakness. Maybe Gaara couldn't do taijutsu...?

[Dazar]

Anko snorted." Who can't do...Oh.." she blinked, dumbfounded. She had NEVER met a shinobi who couldn't do taijutsu. She blinked."Er...then...go straight to ninjutsu. We'll work on getting up you taijutsu later." she said.

A boy who couldn't do taijutsu. A girl to shy to even /talk/ much, and a boy with a big mouth and sharp tongue. This was going to be one heck of a team. She could see it now. 'Worst Team ever! Taught by Anko Mitarashi with her three dumb students'. She sighed, crestfallen.

Kiba didn't move. He still didn't have any interest in going first. Maybe the Gaara kid would decide to get it over with...

He looked down at the lump that was moving quickly at the top of his jacket.
"Akamaru, stop it..." he mumbled, knowing something wasn't right. But, this was getting a bit troublesome. Kiba would be all scratched up before the day was out.

Kiba then looked at Hinata, frowning, -I'm worried about Hinata-san as well...She seems so fragile...-

That tone of voice that Anko had bothered him. She seemed so assured about the taijutsu thing. Like everyone was some sort of specialist in everything. But she’d said to move to ninjutsu, and of course this was his forte. Not being able to do tai or genjutsu, he had sharpened his ninjutsu skills at a very early age. Of course, having the Shukaku helped quite a bit in that situation, as did fighting for his life countless times.

‘Guess I’ll do just that.’ He thought, the cork popping out of his gourd. A small trickle of sand began to fall from it, soon encircling him. Glancing at Hinata and Kiba, he wondered if they were going to show a bit of their skills. Perhaps they were too afraid; too weak.

[Meimei]

Hinata had been watching what was going on, mentally telling herself to actually have the courage to start obeying Anko‘s orders. Although she hated to admit it, she had been reluctant to go first, but now that Gaara had taken up that role, she didn’t feel as timid about the situation. After all, she was going to go nowhere otherwise, and she didn’t want to hear any bad rumors about what was going on head all the way back to the Hyuuga household. Sharply taking a breath, she took a few steps forward so she was directly in front of one of the targets, moving into the infamous stance all Hyuuga’s seemed to fall into just before a fight. A few moments later of telling herself that she wouldn’t look that bad, she struck at one of the targets, as a small flash of chakra appeared from the impact.

Kiba stopped messing with Akamaru, to stare at Gaara.
-Must be from the Village Hidden...in the Sand- he thought, once again trying to focus on not being in fear.
He looked once again, at Hinata.
"You alright...?" he softly whispered in question.
