Surpised by Anko's return that seemed to barely take a few moments, Hinata paused. Well, although she was a little reluctant to leave the stand... well, this was to be Team 5's first mission. It was something to be happy about, right? After all, she had never expected the first mission to come around so soon after meeting the Team as a unit. Nodding at Kiba's request, she left the seat she had been sitting on. Deciding that although Kiba had offered to pay, she should pay for what she had eaten, and began to ummage around for some loose change she had. Leaving it next to her empty ramen bowl, Hinata smiled.
"I'll s-see you later N-Naruto-kun and Mizu-kun," Hinata mumbled before turning to Kiba, Akamaru and Anko.
{Pardon me for this, but wasn't their first mission a D-Rank?}

Naruto scrambled out of his seat, eyes slightly narrowed at Kiba. "What's your problem?!"
Kiba simply ignored the blond-headed boy, already stomping out of the shop. Akamaru barked, weakly. All that was heard from Kiba was the strange noise caused by the grinding of his teeth...Someone must have been...nervous? Yeah, right. Nervous was the only emotion Kiba told himself that was going through his mind right now...Being nervous about the first mission. That's right...
Naruto frowned, turning slightly to his teammate, questioning, "What is his issue...? But, whatever, I suppose. I already was aware that dog boy was kinda obnxious...."

Hinata had heard what Naruto was saying about her team-mate, although like always, she held her tongue rather than say anything. Maybe it was just her shy nature or even her liking for the blonde boy, but she couldn't bring herself to even defend her team-mate. Looking over at Kiba, Hinata managed to give him a small smile. He seemed so tense...
"Kiba-kun, are you o-okay?" she asked, looking at him.
(Ick. DX I've just had the life scared out of me. XD }

"Just peachy!" snarled Kiba, thrusting his hands deep in his pockets.
He stood outside the shop, growling. How could he allow himself to get out of hand like that? And, in a public place? That stupid kid...Everything and everyone was stupid. Even Kiba, himself, was stupid. If Mizu wasn't so nosy, then, there wouldn't be a problem.
Kiba huffed, taking his right hand out of his pocket, bringing it to his mouth. The side of his hand was brought into his mouth. He then bit into it, hard enough to draw blood, which begun to stream down his hand. Kiba breathed in heavily, taking the hand away. He felt better...He hastily wiped off the blood on his pants, then, begun to stare out.
-What a day.-

( If Kiba said that to Mizu she would be all like "I am not a baby goat!" D< xDDDD; )
"I don't know.... Stress or something...." Mizu said shrugging slightly. Ever since childhood Mizu had been an extremely good actor and liar. Being a ninja and all this was something she used for her advantage.

Kiba's 'strange' behaviour was now beginning to really worry Hinata. He had seemed fine in training, although he had been a little 'off' at first when they were in the ramen stand. When Naruto made an appearance, that just seemed to make things worse. Was it Naruto being around that was making Kiba act the way he was? Hopefully not, but at that moment in time, Hinata really wished that she was an actual mind reader. Maybe it would shed some light on this mystery.
Watching Kiba, Hinata bit her bottom lip a little nervously. She didn't know just what she could do. Taking a step closer to Kiba, Hinata had taken it in herself to reach out to him, murmering a, "Are y-you sure?"

Kiba was busy staring at the ground, tasting the blood that had came into his mouth. He lowered himself on the ground, swiftly, with a soft thump. The boy could have chuckled...Why did Hinata always care so much?
"...Hinata-san, you musn't believe everything you hear." he murmured, his fingers gently digging through the soil. "We both know I am an issue...I am just not willing to speak about such a thing...so freely with you. This whole situation is revolving around you Hinata, weither you like it or not and weither you know it or not. Consider yourself lucky. More than a mutt like me would fancy someone like you."

Hinata still couldn’t help nut continue to feel worried about Kiba as she watched him sit down. It was strange… as though Kiba somehow had had a personality transplant within a day. But, maybe it was because she had only really known him from the academy. Now that they were in teams, she assumed that maybe she would get to know the people on her team a little better than she did.
Even when Kiba was sitting, Hinata was standing and listening to every word intently. Okay, so maybe she did misplace her ‘manners’ for once by continuing to stand but she was almost oblivious to that fact. “This situation r-revolves around me? H-how?” Hinata asked, confusion etched into her face. She didn’t really understand what Kiba was saying, even though she had tried her best to make it look as though she did.

Kiba frowned, sighing lightly. This may be hard to explain, but he thought he could manage it all into a few simple words. Or, maybe it had to be more complex. Hinata was waiting for an answer, so, he had to give it to her.
"I seriously don't see why you like him so much. Since when has he ever paid any notice to you?" the boy muttered, still able to taste the lingering blood in his mouth. "You admire him, yet, in a way...He blows you off. He has interests in plently of other things. Naruto doesn't see you in the way I do..."
Kiba paused, trying to chose the right words. He didn't want to make things more confusing than they had to be.
"I am not saying I fancy you, but, I am not saying I haven't any feelings for you either. It is just, I rather perfer to see you happier than you are now. Someone else would see more in you than Uzumaki ever did. He just doesn't know what he is missing from being such a baka who can't figure out the smallest things."
He chuckled, quietly.
"You don't have to change your mind on him, Hinata-san, but, it would be more better for you...Someone who will pay notice to you is the boy who you are looking for."

Upon hearing Kiba’s sigh, Hinata felt a little awful again. There she was again, troubling Kiba like a little child. Would she ever grow up? Finding herself prodding her fingers together whilst she waited for an answer, Hinata looked back down at Kiba when he finally began to speak.
Oh. It seemed as though that they were still on the topic of her liking Naruto. Yes, he was right… in a way, she really only did admire him although that would never explain the permanent blush she would get around him. Still, Hinata never tried to interrupt him, listening to his every word. It was the least that she could do for Kiba at the moment. If Hinata wanted to be honest with herself, when Kiba had tried to explain to her that Naruto probably never ‘liked’ her in the way she wanted him to, the words stung her for a few moments, lingering in the air around her.
But… he was right, wasn’t he? Naruto never really acknowledged her at the best of times, especially when there were a lot of people around. If it was a small gathering like what had just happened at the ramen stand, he would notice that she at least existed then, but when she thought back to the Academy… when did he really notice her?
Hinata opened her mouth to speak, although she seemed hesitant to at first. What would she say in response? She was worried that she could make the situation worse.
“I see…” she mumbled, turning away from Kiba, her eyes focusing themselves on the ground.

"I am not trying to hurt your feelings, Hinata-san." Kiba stated, firmly. "I just don't think he is right for you. He never really acknowleges and nor does he do anything for you. I am not saying he is a bad person. I am sure the kid is full of surprises and probably is such a character...But, maybe you are better without him."
Kiba moved a hand up to his face, scratching a cheek. He knew what this probably seemed like...A plot to try to rid Hinata's feelings towards Naruto. But, that just was not it. In a way, his feelings to Hinata were just kicking in...And all that really mattered was the well being of Hinata.
"Besides...Don't you think you should be someone who won't cause a major sunburn to appear on your face, just because he walks by? I want you to like someone whom is worth the time, waiting for. Naruto just is not it. He may not be an awful person, however, I don't think he would really take the time to look out for you unless there were some critical circumstances. Naruto may not pay any notice to your power until you are put on the spotlight. He just doesn't see you as a special person that is floating around in a crowd of faces..."
He stopped, frowning slightly. Kiba was feeling quite guilty. He was just trying to offer advice...But, could most likely be killing Hinata's heart...

Anko listened to both her students talk. This topic had been going on for a good amount of the morning. Taking it upon herself to stop them from talking more and digging themselves a 'bigger hole'. "Alright Kids, let's get on with our mission then, shall we? Enough idle chit-chat, we've got somehting to do!" she said enthusaistically, trying to get both her students motivated, which seemed to not be what they were now.

Although she was facing away from Kiba, Hinata still felt inclined to listen to what he had to say. What use was all of this talking if his words were to fall onto deaf ears? Even so, his words were still stinging her a little although she was getting used to it by now. It seemed as though nobody approved and maybe they were right in doing so. Maybe… just maybe, she would be better off without him although it was always that said that one should never knock back something that one has never tried. But… would it even take off to be tried? A relationship? With the way Kiba was talking, the answer was apparently ‘no’.
She scuffed her foot along the ground a little, wringing her hands together. Of course, by now it was probably known that was a habit of hers, although at the moment it was as though she was trying to figure out what she should say just by doing that. She opened her mouth to speak although closed it pretty quickly after Kiba had continued.
A small smile danced on Hinata’s lips for a few moments when Kiba had brought up the topic of her inevitable blushing that always seemed to happen when Naruto was there. Although… did it look like sunburn? Truthfully? Well, Hinata wouldn’t know that answer because she wasn’t the type to stare at herself in a mirror and watching herself turn red. That one word was present again, wasn’t it? ‘Want’. Why did Kiba want her to like somebody else? Why not wish? It sounded like a command, to be truthful. Then again, Hinata often obliged to those commands although this time would it be different? She couldn’t choose who she fell for even if she desired. If she did, then everything about it would be false. But… Kiba was right, and Hinata knew it. She had often seen Naruto pining for Sakura and she had often told herself that he, in some random phase, would actually begin to realise that Sakura didn’t like him the way he wanted her to, and then he would finally begin to notice her. Wishful thinking.
“I know that,” she mumbled, although knowing it would be loud enough for Kiba to hear. When Anko cut in with her cheerful words of motivation, Hinata nodded. “H-Hai!” she managed to say, squeezing out a small smile as though nothing was wrong, even though she knew that Anko had heard everything that had been going on.

Kiba snorted, then smiled slightly. He pulled himself from up off the ground. Finally. There was some motivation in the life of being a shinobi...First mission! Sure, D-Rank most likely, but, who cared? They were getting one step closer to hopefully becoming a better team...And the Chunnin Exams! He pulled his hood over his head as Akamaru scuttled around his feet, barking.
"Hear that boy? We got a mission to get to!"
Kiba swiftly picked up his dog companion, allowing the dog to climb into his jacket, head poking out. The boy watched Hinata, then gave her a gentle pat on the shoulder. After what happened, Kiba was able to smile. Well, now, Hinata could probably be able to focus on more important things. Boys didn't matter.
"So, Hinata, you ready to leave the drama behind?" Kiba questioned, with a smirk. "We can't be shinobi with us acting all foolish, right?!"
