Team Five visits the Stand.

Hinata's eyes lingered over Kiba's form as she watched him stand up. Strange, wasn't it? How one had the ability to focus on something else and leave their worries and concerns behind them... although Hinata was indeed grateful for that. Even she assumed that she could push away the worries that were now fresh in her mind to the back of her head which was... well, great. Kiba's enthusiasm for the first mission, although most likely to be something so small, was infectious.

Offering Kiba a smile when he moved to put his hand on her shoulder. Of course, she didn't mind even if it was a simple pat. Nothing all too big but... effective if he was trying to encourage her enthusiasm. Still... a quick moodswing, wasn't it?

In response to Kiba's question, Hinata nodded, clearly happier than she had been a few moments ago. "I know. After all, in a-any mission, we wouldn't w-want to make any mistakes," she replied.

"People make mistakes, Hinata-san. That is what proves us shinobi to be human." stated Kiba, with a small smile. "These missions are quite small, so, I dunno what mistakes we can make."

-I already made a mistake...Picking on Hinata.- Kiba added, mentally. -And I won't do that again. That is pressuring you...Besides, that is too much drama for me.-

Kiba snorted, adjusting his hitae-ate. First mission...Here comes Team Five, ready to get it done. All they needed to do was find the sand kid, whom Kiba almost forgotten about. What was Team Five with a missing member? Team Four and One-Half? If that was even possible--Any, yes, it was time to get going and leave this annoying drama behind! Kiba knew he created himself and decided he was going to stop it himself.

"I am sure you will do great, Hinata-san, on this mission. I promise."

Haru ran into Ichiraku panting. He wiped a couple drops of sweat off his face and sat down. He pulled out a couple hundred yen. ( Correct me if I am wrong about the currency I'm not sure how much they use compared to the USD. ) He then put a hundred down.

" Could I have two bowls please? " He asked politely.

The chef nodded and turned around to begin cooking.

-I wonder if she's coming...-

The blond, hyperactive shinobi was still at the table, taking notice to the newcomer. Naruto quickly ordered another bowl, wondering when Shizune-sensei was to show up.

"Hey, you went to the academy, didn't you?" Naruto questioned Haru, adjusting that very fancy hitae-ate on his forehead.

Naruto did not know too much about Haru, but, was curious if Haru was one of those people whom had teased him and rejected him...No one had talked to Naruto during his life...Unless it was to insult him.

He looked at the blond boy talking to him. He recognised him immediately. Uzumaki Naruto. The one with the demon inside him. He had nothing against him so he never teased him just didn't really talk to him.

" Yeah, I went to the academy. Your Naruto right? I'm Haru. " He said calmly.

He usually was more hyperactive like Naruto but today he was feeling serious. It was that Ino girl probably she brought the serious out of him. Or maybe the river had done it. He shook his head and sighed. He was even thinking weird today.

Naruto nodded slightly.
"Yep. I am Naruto. And, you know what? I am gonna be the best shinobi there ever was!" he said, hastily grinning. "The future Hokage of this village."

Naruto had to frequently gloat about how he was a step closer to being the best shinobi. Of course, why not? He wanted people to understand that he was much of a bigger person than they thought. Ch'yeah!

"But, you know, even strong shinobi like me, gotta eat!"

The best shinobi? The Hokage? Was this kid crazy? Narutp was pushing it when even considering strong. He smiled and looked at Naruto. This kid was just begging for some rivalry.

" Well, You're gonna have to compete with me! The Sexy Dragon of Konoha! " He said while standing then going in his typical heroic pose.

He was making a complete fool of himself. So he quickly sat down. The ramen he ordered arrived shortly after. He looked at the ramen and sighed. She was late.

“Tch, well, I hope you’re eating more than Ramen, big-shot; you’ll need a lot of work if you’re going to be the Godaime.” The remark was neither caustic nor wounding, and if one didn’t know who tossed the tease off they might’ve considered it almost friendly. “But that goes for you too, oh Sexy Dragon of Konoha.” Wrinkling her nose, Yamanaka Ino allowed the cloth entrance to the enclosed stand fall behind her, raising a skeptical brow at the two genin. Planting her hands on her hips as Haru fell into his… trademark pose, the kunoichi couldn’t help but sniff as she held back a small chuckle.

I’ve condemned myself to the company of idiots. Somehow, this didn’t seem too terrible, but she shuddered to consider what would happen when perverted Haru and Naruto-baka came together under the same roof – fortified by… Ramen.

Blonde hair swept back and bright eyes examining the Ichiraku stand, this was perhaps the best opportunity for a sensible girl like Ino to bolt like hell and do something productive; unfortunately, she’d already agreed to meet Haru here and… well. There he was, and she was late.

“So – can I take a seat, or what, ‘Sexy Dragon’?’

Hearing Ino behind him he blushed a little. He had made a complete fool of himself...infront of the girl he was attempting to impress. He smacked his face and dragged his hand down. He turned around to look at Ino with a fake smile.

" Well, I did buy this ramen for you. " He said while pushing over a bowl to the seat next to him. " Eat up. " He said with the fake smile still on his face.

Lingering uncertainly a moment as he covered his face – embarrassed much? – Ino paused a moment as he offered her both a seat and a bowl, but loosing her light-hearted restraint. She couldn’t help it this time; she laughed a little, commenting helplessly, “You look like your face is cracking; you don’t have to smile, baka.”

Slipping into her seat with poise, she took her chopsticks in hand with a show of grace, smiling professionally at the boy but definitely trying to fend off the almost awkward air. Waving off his embarassment, she leaned forward over the counter, passing a hello to Naruto’s team mate whom she remembered vaguely, (“Hello, Mizu-chan!”), before turning back to her companion. “I told you, you didn’t have to pay,” she told him quietly, doing her best not to sound ungrateful, “It was my fault for being late, anyway…”

He stopped the fake smile. But the red on his cheeks stayed. She was embarrassing in public. As hard as he tried to stop blushing it wouldn't work. It only made his cheeks redder.

" I wanted to pay for it. It's the polite thing to do. " He said quietly also.

He got his chopsticks and began eating. He loved ramen. He came in here every so often to spend all his money on it. It was a wonder he wasn't 'big boned' like Chouji.

Amused by the fierce color possessing the boy’s expression – she hadn’t seen that shade of red since Hyuuga Hinata debuted her fainting-spells around Uzumaki Naruto (obvious, seriously), and Ino couldn’t help but wonder if she was really making things worse for Hiyashi-kun. Shaking her head, cheeks dusted with a slight pink from her sheer puzzlement at the guy, Ino shook her headwith feigned exasperation and snapped her chopsticks open. “Well, thank you, then – Itadakimasu.”

She didn't eat often at Ichiraku, considering she had to ensure that her father actually ate food as much as possible (sake didn't count, thanks), but she couldn't complain with Haru's choice for her and quietly finished a bit. "So you're a seasoned Ramen regular," She observed, glancing to Naruto as though to make the comparison.

" Regular? I'm the champion of ramen around these parts. " He said confidently.

He looked over to the Uzumaki. Haru loved ramen as much as he did. If anyone ate it as much as he did it would be Naruto. He spent most of his money on it.

[Tenko]

"Champion - seriously?" Now that was something to consider. Raising a brow and gesturing towards Naruto with the back-ends of her chopsticks, the kunoichi couldn't help but inquire, "Does that mean you'd challenge future Godaime-sama, too? 'cause I have to say - he's... really shoving it down." Staring a moment at the Uzumaki's talent for drowning in Ramen, Ino hastily averted her eyes on the pretext of manners.

"I think you've got competition, lover-boy."
